Cricket was primarily considered a game for Male gender. Cricket as it grew became gender neutral and women cricket started to rise up. Women cricket is not upto the level of men but slowly it is rising.

Now since the world cup is incoming every team preparing for the World Cup is Team India. The Indian team was announced later in the month of January. Team had a lot of surprises, many key players like Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey were dropped and few new faces like Meghna Singh were given a chance.

 

Since the world cup is in New Zealand , the Indian team is already in New Zealand. They played 5 matches but unfortunately India was out class in both the matches. Indian Captain Mithai Raj this tour was good practice for us and now we are slowly getting ready for the big event upcoming.
