Match 1 CSK vs KKR : Preview


The most awaited Indian Premier league 2022 season begins today. This year the league has gone through a whole sale of changes. Be it its official sponsor from VIVO to Tata or be it the addition of 2 new teams. Lucknow and Gujarat will be making their ipl debut this season . 


Now as we all know, this year will be conducted in the state of Maharashtra in cities of Mumbai and Pune. The IPL opener will take place at Wankhede Stadium between the last year finalist and the deafening champions of the Indian premier league.  It's Chennai Super Kings taking on the Kolkata Knight Riders.

After the auction CSK lost some of its key players while they brought some new players. Also for this match CSK would be missing the services of their all rounder Moen Ali who is stuck in homeland due visa issue while Deepak Chahar their star bowler is injured and is set to miss majority of the ipl. Now coming onto CSK playing 11 , with the absence of Moen Devon Conway will certainly get started and he will open with Ruturaj. In the middle order there will be no Chinna Thala for CSK (Suresh Raina) thus middle order will consist of Robin Uthappa Rayudu and MSD. Then lower middle order Captain Jadeja and young Hangargekar will slot in . Now coming to the bowling Dj Bravo along with Adam Milne and Chris Jordan and young Prashant Solanki will complete the squad as 2nd spinner in Moen Absence. 


Now coming to KKR they too have gone under complete change from last year, the new captain and new setup this time. KKR would open with V.Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane then captain Shreyas Iyer at 3 , Nitish Rana at 4 then came power hitters at 5 6 and 7 in the form of Sam Billings, Russell and Sunil Narine. Now in the bowling department till Cummins returns KKR looks lightweight and will work with what they have Varun Chakravarthy , Shivam Mavi , Umesh Yadav and Tim Southee will make the final player in the 11.
