Match 4 IPL 2022 : Hardik Pandya Gujarat Titans takes on KL Rahul Lucknow

It has been just 2 days since The great Indian Fest known as the Indian Premier League began. Season started with a clash of defending Champions versus the last year finalist. Then Yesterday it was the first double header day of the tournament where in two capital cities one being the official capital and other being financial capital closed (Delhi vs Mumbai) Then 2nd Clash for the day was fan favourite RCB up against uplifted Punjab. 


Now today is the day where two brand new teams will go up against each other. It will be debut in the IPL for both the Gujarat Titans and Lucknow SuperGiants. The Lucknow team is led by experienced captain KL Rahul while Gujarat team is led by first time captain Hardik Pandya. 


Both new teams management did their best at the auction table to get the best team possible for themselves. Now talking about both teams, both have got enough firepower and also decent bowling attack. Since this their first ever in the Indian Premier League it would be tough to predict teams as we dont by what mindset the both management have got. 


Still lets see what would be Lucknow SuperGiants Playing for this 1st match. Lucknow has got a solid opening pair in captain Rahul along with South African Quinton De Kock. In the middle order they got the experience of Manish Pandey and Manan Vohra. Then comes the all rounder department and here Lucknow is blessed with many options. At 5 6 and 7 Deepak Hoda Krunal Pandya and Krishnappa Gowtham will be slotted in. Now coming into the bowling here the team looks slightly weak as their star names are yet to come but for today's match they can go with Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan, Dushmantha Chameera and Ankit Rajpoot. 


Now lets see what could be playing XI for their opponents and another new team Gujarat Titans. Gujarat have a solid opening pair in form Dashing Australian batsman Mathew Wade and bright Indian star Shubman Gill. Coming onto no. 3 Here there is a slight selection dilemma between young Manohar and experienced Saha but considering this 1st game management will prefer experience of Saha. At 4 experienced South African David Miller slots himself. At 5, 6 and 7 we have got three experienced all rounders in Vjay Shankar , Captain Hardik Pandya and Rahul Tewita. In bowling they got the likes of Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Shami and  Jayant Yadav.
