Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain Announced for IPL 2022

After the conclusion of the grand auction of the Indian Premier League , the stage is set for IPL season 2022. All the teams are gearing for this mega league. Many teams have started calling their players so that they can start their pre- IPL camps by the first week of march.

After the mega auction every team has a brand new look. Team owners and management are all busy in preparing for the league. According to reports CSK is set to start pre ipl camp from tomorrow. The 2 new franchises too received their team names and logos and are now working for other details.

Now coming to on field , some IPL teams let go of their existing captains and were looking for captains in the auction. Slowly after auction teams started to announce their captains Gujarat and Lucknow named Hardik and KL Rahul while Punjab and KKR named Mayank and Shreyas Iyer as their captains while rest 4 teams MI , CSK , RR and SRH already had their captains in place.

Now the only team remaining to announce its captain is Royal Challengers Bangalore. With RCB the story has a twist , till last year they had the finest captain in world cricket , but suddenly Virat Kohli decided to quit RCB captaincy. Now RCB went into the auction looking for a captain. Now after the auction RCB has got 3 potential candidates for Captaincy: Faf Du Plessis , Dinesh Karthik and the big show , Glen Maxwell. 

Now according to the latest reports , Royal Challengers Bangalore are set to hold an official press conference on 12th of March and there they will announce their captain and even their new logo and jersey. According to reports, with the appointment of ABD as their mentor, RCB are all set to announce his dear friend from South Africa , Faf Du Plessis as the new captain of the franchise for IPL 2022.
