Another Major Blow to CSK

Chennai Super Kings has been an iconic franchise in the Indian premier league. CSK has been a consistent team in the ipl, it has reached finals 9 out of 12 editions they have been part of. Chennai Super kings has been led by Indian one of best cricketer MS Dhoni. But before the start of this season MSD announced that he will be stepping down from captaincy this year. 


Ravindra Jadeja was announced as new CSK captain and under CSK has had a shaky start, they lost 6 matches out 8 which they played so far under him. After last night's loss to Punjab it's highly unlikely that they will be in the playoffs this year. 


Another major concern for CSK this year has been injury to their key players. First their prime bowler and star Deepak Chahar sustained a hamstring injury and was ruled out for first few games but later the news came in that he suffered another injury this time back injury and now will be ruled out the entire IPL 2022. After the start of the season CSK suffered another injury in form their new pacer from New Zealand Adam Milne suffered a leg and now he too has been ruled out of IPL for this season. 


Yesterday CSK another fatal blow as star all rounder Moeen Ali from UK has major role play last season in title winning season spanked his ankle and now in contention to sidelined for more than 8-10 weeks which meant he will be out of IPL 2022. CSK hasn't official announced anything regarding this as they waiting  for scans results to come but certainly it looks like he will be missing at least next few games for CSK for sure.
