Gujarat Titans vs Chennai Super Kings : Review

The match 29 started with Gujarat Titans stand-in skipper Rashid Khan won the toss and opted to field. Firstly Gujarat regular Hardik Pandya was ruled out injured due to groin injury which he suffered in the last match. Thus due to Hardik injury Gujarat had make some changes, Matthew Wade and Hardik were replaced by Alzarri Joseph and Wriddhiman Saha. CSK were coming off their first win of their campaign thus they were unchanged. 


Match started with an early wicket for CSK as Robin Uthappa was dismissed and their no.3 Moeen Ali was dismissed early. Then Out of form of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rayudu came together to snath almost 95 run stands. Gaikwad got in form and scored fluently and Rayudu too scored some big shots. After these 2 being dismissed other CSK batsman struggled to time the ball and CSK eventually ended with score of 169. 


Gujarat came to bat with a target of 170. Gujarat had a horror start, they lost quick wickets and were reduced 15/3 inside powerplay. Then Saha and David Miller switched a decent partnership and got a GT decent score. After Saha dismissal GT again struggled and lost 2 quick wickets and it was down to Miller and stand-in skipper Rashid Khan to take GT home. Then came Rashid magic he smashed Chris Jordan for 25 runs which changed the entire match in favour of Gujarat Titans. Then came David Miller show, the was cooled head throughout match and took Titans with enthralling knock of 94 runs from 51 balls. 


Thus the overall match was interesting and it went to the wire and it was full of excitement and fans must have enjoyed the game.
