IPL Finals Date and Schedule Released

The Indian Premier League is festival time in India. Since the inception of the IPL , Indian cricket has benefited a lot from it. Many young cricketers have emerged through this league. Cricketers like Bumrah Yuzvendra Chahal and many more. Now it has been 14 years since the start of the ipl and this is its 14th season. 


From the past couple of years due the ongoing Pandemic IPL was shifted outside India to the UAE. But this year the BCCI has decided to host IPL Season 14 in India. In february BCCI in their general body meeting decided to host League stage of indian premier in State of Maharashtra in City of Mumbai and Pune as these cities have 4 stadiums in their vicinity. Matches have been equally distributed among these stadiums 15 each apparently. 


Regarding the venues of the Knockout stage it wasn't clear. BCCI held many meetings regarding this and there were many talks held in Mumbai itself to avoid any bio bubble breach threats. But yesterday news came out that venues and dates of the knockout stage were announced. 


BCCI in their press release announced that 1st Semifinal and Eliminator will be held on 24th and 25th of May in iconic Eden Garden Stadium in Kolkata and Semifinal 2 and IPL Final including its closing ceremony will be held in New launched Narendra Modi or formerly known as Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad in Gujarat on 26th and 28th of May.
